Today has been such a great Sunday fun day! I was finally able to use my Mother’s Day spa gift this morning, thanks hunny! I feel so relaxed, I wish I could get massages and pedis every day. It’s also my sisters birthday so the whole family went to Carrabba’s for dinner, my mouth is still watering from that meal! Omg you guys, if you haven’t tried their lobster ravioli you are missing out, its to die for!! I hope you are all having a nice weekend, I know I’m not ready for it to end. Our pool is finally open and all I want to do is go outside and play with Beckham.

I love these slides from Target, they are so comfortable and easy to just throw on with any outfit. I’ve been wearing them nonstop since I purchased them a few weeks ago and for $12.99 I may just go back for the brown pair as well. They are such a great dupe for the Steve Madden brand. I have been dying to get my hands on a pair of the Mark Fisher Espadrilles but honestly the thought of spending $150.00 on a pair of shoes that I can only wear a few months out of the year in Ohio just isn’t worth it to me. I found this super comparable pair of espadrilles at Target and could not resist purchasing them! I love a good wedge shoe and for less than 1/4 of the price of the designer brand I just couldn’t pass it up. I ordered these online this past week and am still waiting for them to arrive in the mail. I will do a review once they are here and let you know if they are as cute as they look online (our store was sold out, so they must be a hot seller!). Wow, this post is coming at you guys late in the day! Sorry, ya’ll it has been a busy Sunday fun day with the family. My husband let me sleep in this morning (thank goodness because I was exhausted), then we went out for lunch and for a nice long walk at one of the prettiest nature trails in our home town. It has been a really great day enjoying this gorgeous weather. Ohio is still so warm, which is extremely unusual for October, so we have been spending as much time outside enjoying the heat as we can because we know it will be gone too soon.
The swing dress and shirt combo I am wearing above is super cute and flattering! I love finding new ways to layer my wardrobe and when I paired these two pieces together I was in LOVE! You can not go wrong with a classy black and white look. Swing dresses are seriously the best, so flattering and soft. Also, the Alex and Ani website I tagged is sooooo addicting. If you haven’t already purchased some of their bracelets then you need to check them out! Seriously, I wear a different combination of mine almost every single day. You guys, Beckham has been sleeping through the night now for a few weeks and let me just tell you it is LIFE CHANGING! It took 13 months for our little cutie to stop waking up throughout the night and I am feeling like a brand new woman now that I get sleep again. I mean he still sleeps in our bed, so its not the perfect situation, but he is sleeping so that counts for something! Anyway, today’s post is all about mini skirts and sweaters, such a cute fall look! I have been really digging the mini skirt trend, especially jean skirts. The outfit I am wearing above I purchased in store at Forever21 and of course I can not find the exact pieces online, ugh so frustrating. Happy hump day, woot woot! This week has been crazy busy at work and home so I am more than ready for the weekend to be here to enjoy some down time with my guys. The sweater featured in the pictures above is the softest, comfiest sweater I have ever owned! I swear it felt like I was wearing a sweatshirt all day today, which was perfect since it was rainy and gross outside. But, seriously, besides being soft and comfy, the ruffle detail is super cute and the fit is perfect. The ruffle fad this fall is sooo cute! I will definitely be living in this sweater all fall and winter! I also really loved the marbled grey and black look, will match any bottoms you pair it with. I purchased this sweater just two weeks ago at our local Forever21 store while shopping with my sister. Unfortunately, they do not have the product listed for sale online so if you are really interested you’ll have to shop in store for it (it’s totally worth it, believe me!). The price is fantastic too, less than $20! Forever21 always has some great deals. Hope you all have a fantastic rest of your week!

Happy HUMP day – half way to Friday!! I don’t know about you guys, but this week has been a rough one for me so I can not wait for the weekend to get here!!! Anyway, this past weekend Shane and I took Beckham to our local orchard to get into the fall spirit! Fall in Ohio is fantastic, there are so many fun things to do and see. We had such a blast watching Beckham experience everything the local orchard had to offer. Seriously, having kids makes everything 10x better!! We were able to feed the cutest little farm animals, picked some pumpkins and mums for our front porch and took Beckham on his first hayride. Of course, I also enjoyed the food. Have you guys ever tried a warm apple dumpling with vanilla ice cream? If not, you are seriously missing out! Probably one of my favorite desserts ever. It honestly couldn’t have been more of a perfect day. I hope you all had a great weekend too, thanks for stopping by to read the post 🙂
