Wow, this post is coming at you guys late in the day! Sorry, ya’ll it has been a busy Sunday fun day with the family. My husband let me sleep in this morning (thank goodness because I was exhausted), then we went out for lunch and for a nice long walk at one of the prettiest nature trails in our home town. It has been a really great day enjoying this gorgeous weather. Ohio is still so warm, which is extremely unusual for October, so we have been spending as much time outside enjoying the heat as we can because we know it will be gone too soon.
The swing dress and shirt combo I am wearing above is super cute and flattering! I love finding new ways to layer my wardrobe and when I paired these two pieces together I was in LOVE! You can not go wrong with a classy black and white look. Swing dresses are seriously the best, so flattering and soft. Also, the Alex and Ani website I tagged is sooooo addicting. If you haven’t already purchased some of their bracelets then you need to check them out! Seriously, I wear a different combination of mine almost every single day. Happy hump day, woot woot! This week has been crazy busy at work and home so I am more than ready for the weekend to be here to enjoy some down time with my guys. The sweater featured in the pictures above is the softest, comfiest sweater I have ever owned! I swear it felt like I was wearing a sweatshirt all day today, which was perfect since it was rainy and gross outside. But, seriously, besides being soft and comfy, the ruffle detail is super cute and the fit is perfect. The ruffle fad this fall is sooo cute! I will definitely be living in this sweater all fall and winter! I also really loved the marbled grey and black look, will match any bottoms you pair it with. I purchased this sweater just two weeks ago at our local Forever21 store while shopping with my sister. Unfortunately, they do not have the product listed for sale online so if you are really interested you’ll have to shop in store for it (it’s totally worth it, believe me!). The price is fantastic too, less than $20! Forever21 always has some great deals. Hope you all have a fantastic rest of your week!

I hope everyone is having a great weekend! Last night I paired this simple off the shoulder top with the perfect pair of distressed white jeans for date night with my hubby. We were all ready to head out for dinner and shopping until our little one woke up sick from a nap. Seeing your babies hurting has to be one of the hardest things for a parent to do (insert sad face!). Our date night outfits quickly turned into sweat pants and we spent the whole night cuddling our sweet sick boy. Hopefully he starts to feel better today so we can go out and enjoy this 80 degree Ohio weather.
