Birthday Cake & Smash Cake: Sweet Temptations LLC (OMG, you guys, this cake was so moist and delicious!!! The whole entire cake was gone before the party ended. I was a little sad I didn’t get to keep some leftovers for myself, haha!) | Cookies: Nomi’s Cookies (These cookies were unbelievably cute! When I ordered the cookies all I did was tell her the theme and colors I was doing and let her work her magic and boy was I so happy with the end result! And holy cow these things were delicious! They went super fast too!) | Decorations: All of the banners, cake topper and cupcake toppers were found on Etsy, the tent and silver balloons were found on Amazon, and the “Wild One” themed decorations were ordered from Hobby Lobby.
Today our little Beckham turned 14 months old! How does time go sooo fast when you have kids? Ugh, it makes me so sad to think that he won’t be my cuddly little baby forever! (Cue the tears!!) We took him trick or treating tonight in our neighborhood and had such a fun time seeing him in his little police costume. He did great, even in this freezing cold Ohio weather. We might even take him back out on Tuesday night for trick or treating at his grandparents house. Hopefully, it gets a little warmer by then. Ohio went from summer to winter, skipping fall altogether. No surprises there though, ha.
Since, our sweet boy turned 14 months old today I thought it would be fun to share pictures from his big “Wild One” themed first birthday party. The party was a blast and the decorations turned out so cute!! I love throwing parties, I tend to go way overboard though with decorations and planning. I seriously planned his birthday for 6+ months, lol. He loved every second of it and we had so many friends and family come over to share his big day, so it was all worth it in the end. If you live in northern Ohio you should definitely check out the cake and cookie businesses I tagged above. The cake and cookies were phenomenal, like seriously, mouthwatering good! Everyone at the party was asking where they could order these desserts from. Beckham obviously loved his smash cake too as you can see in the pictures. Poor boy has a sweet tooth just like his momma. If you are looking for an easy and delicious food option for your birthday parties, go for a taco bar. Our taco bar turned out so great, it was not very expensive to do and everyone seemed to enjoy it, adults and kiddos! I had a lot of fun shopping for this party and I ended up ordering almost everything online.
